Back Porch Garden

These are a few pics of my back porch garden. We are renting and we are not allowed to plant anything in the ground so Zach and I made a few planter boxes, I planted peas and beans in them so they are in the shade. Also I went to Ross and found a few containers ( you can see them in the pictures on the front and back porch pictures) that aren't your typical garden pots (just make sure to punch holes in the bottom for water drainage).

Front Porch Garden

This post is mostly for my Mom (I know she'll appreciate it)! I wanted to plant herbs so I planted a bunch of different herbs and then I also have two cherry tomato plants hanging upside down in one of the flower pots ( I saw this on the news and thought it was a great idea, plus Owen LOVES tomatoes.) I also have a few vegetables in my backyard that I grew in pots. Our ward has a garden so I also have a garden plot I just planted, I will have to take some pictures. It has been really fun and I recommend gardening to everyone!!

For those of you who haven't been to the splash park, my kids would highly recommend it!

Sam was sooo dirty! First he just rolled around in the dirt, then he found the water and made mud out of it all. Yuck!

California

Lindsay and I decided to take the kids to California, most of these pictures are at Newport Beach where we stayed with our parents! We had lots of fun even though we were ready to pull our hair out by the end.





















Bailee won the best baby in the world award! I don't think she cried once the whole trip!
