Summer Projects

These are some of my experiments this summer (the ones that turned out). I wanted to learn how to use my sewing machine so I got to work.



Bag I made for Owen out of Zach's cargo shorts.






I took shirts that didn't fit Zach anymore and recycled them to fit Owen.

Recovered my crib bumper with extra fabric I had. I like it but it's a little girly. Oh well.

A world map made from flannel so the whole family can learn geography.

Beautiful gardens even in Las Vegas!

This is my Mom's garden at her house in Las Vegas! She has an amazing ability to plant and keep gardens! You have to make your own beauty in Las Vegas and she has done it!

Concert in the Park

We went to the Concert in the Park which is about a mile away from our house. The band was called "Love Shack" and it was 80's night (if you couldn't tell by the band name)! Owen and Maddie were having a great time dancing and eating cookies!

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

Just doing my part. I thought this would help everyone try a little harder to reduce, reuse and recycle.
